Many patients start to notice improvements after just a few sessions, but the timeline can vary based on the severity of your condition and your adherence to the treatment plan. Your therapist will provide a more personalized expectation during your sessions.
You’ll know you’re done with physical therapy when you’ve met the goals established at the beginning of your treatment… aka… back to sending it! This usually includes the resolution of pain, restored mobility, and the ability to perform daily activities or sports without discomfort. Your therapist will guide you through this process and make recommendations for any ongoing exercises to maintain your progress.
